DoorsetBook is operated by Ellul Solutions Ltd. This page explains what happens to information submitted on this site.

What we collect and why

We collect what you type into an enquiry form (your name, your email address, your message) and, if you create an account, your email address and the building, door and check records you choose to store. The free calculators compute in your browser and send nothing anywhere: we do not receive the figures you type into them unless you save them to an account.

Legal basis and sharing

We do not sell your details and we do not pass them to installers, surveyors, lead buyers or advertising networks. Payment is taken by Stripe, who receive your card details directly; card numbers never reach DoorsetBook. Email is delivered by our email provider. Where you store your own residents' or contractors' details in DoorsetBook we act as your processor under UK GDPR Article 28 and as a service provider under the CCPA, on the written terms published on this site, and we hold a current list of the sub-processors involved.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for 24 months, then deleted. Aggregate statistics that identify nobody are kept indefinitely.

Analytics

This site uses cookieless, aggregate analytics. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no consent banner needed.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask for deletion at any time: hello@doorsetbook.com. We respond within one month.
